Our Process

Before exchange of any documentation, EstiWatts will offer you the option of a one way non-disclosure agreement to provide you with the additional assurance that all information is treated strictly confidential. 

Upon receipt of all documentation from yourselves, I'll carry out a full review and a preliminary evaluation will be issued detailing my fees and anticipated tender return date. 

 
I also offer VE (valued engineering) suggestions should this be of interest. Please be sure to advise at this stage if you require it. If you desire VE options at a later stage, I can offer an additional cost for this service.

EstiWatts will document any discrepancies or missing information within the tender pack. This can be sent to yourselves in the format of an RFI document (request for information) which can then be issued to the main contractor. Alternatively and with your permission, I can liaise direct with the main contractor whilst ensuring you're always copied into any correspondence. 

EstiWatts will send out all project specific quotation requests to the wholesalers/suppliers of your choice. For the VE service, I'll also issue enquiries to your preferred specialist sub-contractors. Unless you request otherwise, I'll always copy you into all email correspondence with your supply chain.

A full quantified take off will be carried out and I'll input this information into a specially designed spreadsheet which is laid out in the same manner as Trimble’s Contract Master MEP.

Wholesaler discounts overheads and labour rates can be input by EstiWatts or easily done by yourselves. 

Upon completion of the estimate, I'll issue a quantified take off sheet, marked up drawings, a list of tender clarifications (inclusions and exclusions) and a folder containing all wholesaler quotations, specialist sub-contractor quotations and email correspondence. I'm also more than happy to receive a template of your company tender letter and input the tender clarifications for you.
